For Fanfiction:
Since all fanfic submissions will be posted directly to our AO3 collection, participating writers must have an AO3 account. Please upload your final work to the collection and mark it as a gift for your assigned recipient!For Fanart:
We recommend posting your art to AO3 as well, but this is optional. If you prefer not to, you may instead send your finished piece to the moderators during the anonymous work reveal period. Once creator reveals begin, you’re welcome to share your work publicly on your own social media platforms.Works will be revealed on February 7th, and remain anonymous until the official creator reveal on February 14th.❥ This is a gift exchange.
By signing up, you agree to create your gift in good faith and with care, just as someone will be doing for you.Please also be prepared to express gratitude to your gifter for the time and effort they put into your gift.❥ Fandom crossovers and AI-generated content are not allowed.❥ Gifting Mediums
Gifts may take the form of fanfiction, fanart, or other fanworks, depending on what you choose to create.During sign-ups, you’ll be able to indicate which mediums you’re willing to create and which you prefer to receive.❥ Minimum gift requirements:
— 1000+ words for fanfiction
— A completed, polished art piece (digital or traditional equivalent)❥ Writing rules:
— Fanfiction must be at least 1,000 words and should be able to be read as a standalone story.
— Multi-chaptered fics should have at least one completed chapter ready by the posting date.
— There is no upper word limit, but please consider your time, energy, and ability to complete your gift on schedule.❥ Art rules:
— Artwork must be a finished piece on unlined paper or its digital equivalent.
— This includes clean lineart, lineless painting, comics, or any other complete medium that reflects your style.
— For traditional pieces, please provide a clear scan or high-quality photo of the finished work.
— All artworks must be colored (or shaded, in the case of black & white works).
— Chibi artworks are required to include a background, while backgrounds remain optional for non-chibi pieces.❥ Content Guidelines
— Fanworks may draw from the novel, manhwa, AUs, alternate settings (modern, fantasy, pre-registration, post-registration, or otherwise)
— There are no restrictions on dynamic and/or rating.The only core requirement is that your work remains centered on the relationship between Han Yoojin and Han Yoohyun in some capacity, and that it is properly tagged.❥ To Elaborate:
All submissions must be tagged as Han Yoohyun/Han Yoojin ( / ).This means that the emotional or narrative focus of their relationship should be developed to a degree that reasonably merits the ( / ) tag.The interpretation of the pairing may be broad; your works are not required to depict overt affection (e.g. kissing) or sexual content to qualify, but they should portray a level of emotional significance, intimacy, or mutual focus that aligns with a romantic reading of their relationship to justify the tag.If you are uncertain whether your concept qualifies, please feel free to reach out to the moderators for clarification!Side pairings (for example, Sung Hyunjae/Song Taewon) are allowed, as long as they do not overshadow the central focus on Han Yoohyun and Han Yoojin.Other ships may appear incidentally or temporarily, but Han Yoohyun/Han Yoojin should remain the endgame or primary narrative focus.Explicit content is welcome, provided that it remains centered on Han Yoohyun and Han Yoojin. ❥ A: Not at all! Even though this event is called a Valentine’s Exchange, your work doesn’t need to be "soft or fluff romance" unless you want it to be. Angst, tragedy, comedy, plot-heavy stories, slice-of-life pieces — anything is welcome.❥ Q: What should I do if I need clarification about my giftee’s request?
❥ A: If something in your assignment isn’t clear, please reach out to a moderator and let us know what you need clarified. We’ll contact your recipient on your behalf and forward their response to you once we have it.❥ Q: What kind of content is accepted?
❥ A: We welcome fanworks centered around any and all versions of Han Yoojin and Han Yoohyun — from the novel and manhwa to AUs, modern settings, genderbends, etc. There are no restrictions on tone, dynamic, or rating.Both Han Yoohyun/Han Yoojin (YHYJ) and Han Yoojin/Han Yoohyun (YJYH) interpretations are equally accepted. When signing up, you’ll be able to specify whether you’re comfortable creating or receiving particular configurations or themes.Works featuring darker or mature content (including dubcon, non-con, a/b/o dynamics, hard kinks, or other heavy subjects) are allowed as long as they are properly tagged.❥ Q: Are other ships allowed?

❥ A: No direct crossovers. That means no other fandom characters appearing or sharing the world. However, if you’re drawing inspiration from another canon’s worldbuilding, tone, or setting (like a “guide/esper au” or "my hero academia-inspired superhero au" or “scum-villain inspired xianxia world”), that’s absolutely fine! We just ask that the focus and cast stay on S Class characters and themes.❥ Q: Where can I see the works after they’ve been posted?

GUIDELINES

❥ During sign-ups, you will be asked to indicate your preferred medium(s) to create, to receive, and additional information about your likes and "Do Not Wants" for your potential gifter to work from.❥ The exchange will be hosted on a private Discord server, which will serve as the main hub for announcements, updates, and moderator check-ins.❥ Moderators will be conducting periodic progress checks throughout the event to ensure everyone is on track. The server will also function as a community space for participants to interact, share inspiration, and get to know one another if they are interested.❥ You will have approximately two months to create at least one completed fanwork for your assigned giftee. Participants will be matched according to their preferences as closely as possible. While you are not required to follow your recipient’s prompts exactly, please make sure you do not create content listed on their DNWs (Do Not Wants).❥ If at any point you find yourself unable to complete your gift or wish to withdraw from the event, please inform a moderator as soon as possible so that arrangements for pinch-hits (filling in for drops!) can be made. Communication helps us keep the event fair and stress-free for everyone.❥ During the posting period, all fanworks will be uploaded anonymously to a dedicated AO3 collection on February 7. Works will remain anonymous until the creator reveal on February 14.❥ Until the reveal date, please do not post your exchange work on personal accounts (such as Twitter, Tumblr, or other social platforms), and avoid including any hints to your identity within your AO3 submission. This is a hidden exchange, and anonymity is part of the fun up until the creator reveals!
